This is my second time going on a trip on Southwest Airline with Chinatown Community Development Center. I am very excited for this trip going to three cities: Washington D.C., New York City, and Boston. Everyone arrived at the airport at the early morning at 4AM. This morning was extremely chaotic. There are issues with our boarding passes and we almost missed our flight. Luckily, we got to fixed it on time and we got through the TSA and then we started our trip. We had a layover in Chicago, the city
that I make a promise before the last time I went on a trip with CCDC. I make a promise with one of my friend saying that if we do not lose weight, we won’t go back to the city. I did not lose weight but I did not step out of the airport so technically, I did not break my promise. When we lay over at the Chicago Airport, I went to try some Chinese Food inside the food court at the airport. The food was pretty surprising to me because the way how they make it is very “American”. I am not sure how to describe it but you try how the traditional way of making the beef, and you try the one you eat at Chicago, it tastes very different. After we got out of the airport, the warm and humid weather got us. The weather
was eighty degrees Fahrenheit and even the wind was warm. This is the first time I ever experienced this weather after I came to America from China. For the first day, we did not do much. My first impression of Washington D.C. is clean and there are police and ambulances siren everywhere. We checked into our hotel and went to eat at Mai Thai for the first dinner because our stomach are not feeling well.
By the way, the Walgreens in San Francisco are the CVS in Washington D.C.
They are literally everywhere.
P.s. for myself: Great Job! You didn't eat fast food
