Three Strikes

On the sixth day in New York we went to another college campus. The Columbia University, in this campus we did not have any college campus tours so we just walked around again. Because I did not really learn much from this tour I did not have a very good or bad impression of this school. Following this we went to Flushing again but this time it was for a tour. Here we learned about the history of the Chinatown community in New York, the historical facts, and information. We then went to eat lunch at Shanghai restaurant and ate Chinese food. After this we had some free time, so I went to Aji Ichiban, which was a candy shop and bought some rock candy. In addition we went to the original Chinatown ice cream factory. In this shop I had three strikes, first I asked for lemon sorbet but they did not have it, next I asked for Oreo cookie again they did not have that, and then I asked for mango, which they did not have again. So in the end I decided to go with Mint Chip and Lychee. After this we went to the trinity church and then went to ride on a ferry round trip Battery Park to get a good view of the Statue of Liberty. The breeze while aboard the ferry was great and you can feel some of the seawater splash up on you. Afterwards, we went to the College Campus NYU. Later on we ate Italian food at Carmine’s in Times Square and by the end of this day it was 11, so we all went back to the hotel to sleep and then wake up early in the morning to go to our last stop, Boston.
